The Hawk and His Boy: free on Amazon

Amazon just made The Hawk and His Boy free. I was hoping they would do that, and – lo, and behold – they did. If you don’t have a copy already, please go and get one. Unless you utterly, completely, totally despise epic fantasy. If you do, then may I instead suggest a meal of a nice, fresh Agatha Christie, followed by a bowl of short stories by Flannery O’Connor, a main course of Charles Dickens, and a dessert of Robert Powell (a slice of Don Quixote USA).

  1. How long will you be featuring it for free? If it is going to be a couple of weeks I can feature it as my Free Book Monday book on my blog. Very cool of you to do that so more people can try out your series.

    1. I was thinking about two months? Something like that. I’d love to have it on your blog, Scott. That’d be great!

  2. I got the book for $.99..now it’s free! I’d pay full price for it! It’s an excellent read so is the second book. I’m looking forward to the third book in the trilogy. There will be a third? I’m hoping? Please? ;0)

    1. Hi, Meredith. I’m glad you enjoyed the first two books. I published the third book in the trilogy last month on Amazon. It’s called The Wicked Day.

  3. I am loving this trilogy!! Thanks to you and to Amazon for featuring book 1 for free, I have been completely sucked in….definitely not something I was expecting from a freebie read. I just bought book 3 and am looking forward to seeing how everything plays out. Thanks for a great read.

    1. Thanks, Lisa, for stopping by with such a kind comment. I’m glad you’re enjoying the story, and I hope The Wicked Day ends well for you.
