Stacks of computers, stretching away into the distance like the Alps…

tuba and celloHere’s a short sketch of what I’m terming the second movement to accompany that violin piece I posted a week or so ago. I’m using tuba in this one. Interesting tone. I’ve never used one before. I really like the way it works with the plucked guitar and cello. The final will be a lot longer than this, but this is my initial idea.

Anyway, those stacks are what I need, if I want to continue recording music. I was working on some music yesterday when my computer informed me in no uncertain terms that it was out of space. 150 gigs is musical chickenfeed. Midi and samples don’t take up much space. It’s only when I get into live recording that the problem arises. Alas and alack. I have a list of songs I’d like to record, but they’re going to have to wait until I solve my storage problem.
