Finally done. Well, almost. The covers for The Hawk and His Boy & The Shadow at the Gate are done and uploaded to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Smashwords. It usually takes 24-48 hours for them to propagate through the system, but they’re there! Somewhere, meandering their way through the darkness studded by sparkling 1s and 0s. The cover for The Wicked Day should be done tonight. That one was held up by a brief entanglement with the horse’s livery.
Psychologically, it’ll be good to have these three books wrapped up more completely (except for the print versions), as I have so many other projects that need my time: the script with the Upsidown World folks, the dystopian thriller, a great deal of song-writing and recording, and then the Shangri-La of fantasy stories (this one has been
brewing inside my brain for over a year now, twisting and turning in the gyre). Honestly, I wish I could divide myself into a couple people (though, that would necessitate buying a couple more computers) and then have them all write at the same time.
