Free Hawk copies at Smashwords

I recently took the plunge at Smashwords (not sure why I put it off for so long) and published The Hawk and His Boy on that site. Mark Coker’s doing some interesting things with his business as he tries to corner more of the ebook-portal business. Anyway, I’m testing the free coupon widget at Smashwords. If you want a free copy of The Hawk, go to the book’s page here, and then buy it with this coupon code: XE53B. That’ll give it to you for free, and there are quite a few different formats you can choose from (epub, pdf, etc). If you notice anything off in the formatting, I’d appreciate it you would let me know. Thanks.

  1. Great, thank you for the free book at Smashwords! I came from there to check out what other books you may have written. I had already placed The Hawk and His Boy into my cart, what a SWEET surprise to see you offered here a coupon code. Will you be listing your other books on Smashwords soon?
    Thanks again!

    1. Hi Pam. I’m glad that coupon went live just in time. I’m not sure yet if I’m going to put other books up on Smashwords. I just put the Hawk up and I want to see what the process is like for Smashwords to then port it into Kobo, the Apple store, etc (I’ve heard some conflicting things about how that works). Anyway, I hope you enjoy the story!
