I just posted a short instrumental I recorded called The Ghost in the Attic. It’s a meditation on one of the characters from the Tormay Trilogy who first appears in my newest book, The Shadow at the Gate. Garageband, of course, with a final mix in Logic Express. You can listen to it here.

Life Has Come Undone
Here’s another seat-of-the-pants song. Give it a listen, and feel free to take it if you want.
Camera
Here’s a song from my old rock band days in Chicago. Those were fun times, but hard on the vocal chords. Anyway, this one is called Camera. It’s a bit harder than the other tunes I’ve put up on this site.
Overboard
I think I wrote this song in about five minutes. Yeah, that’s potentially a double-edged thing to admit, as some listeners might point out that the song certainly sounds like it was written in five minutes. My view on it is that sometimes creativity springs forth in immediacy and instantaneous completion. How is that possible?
The Wintercold
This is a song I wrote a while ago about the concept of homesickness and home. It’s been recorded several times in different arrangements, but I like this one, particularly for the background vocals toward the end. Anyway, give it a listen.
