Six science fiction stories, ranging from dystopian apocalyptic to space opera.
The first story in the collection, “The Model Universe,” explores issues of finiteness through the eyes of a young boy named Tommy. “Nothing Disappears” is the story of a detective who discovers there’s much less to a health clinic than is apparent.
“The Satisfactory Completion of Mr. Janklow” is about a planetary assassin completing his last job. “The Boy In The Garden” questions the definition of murder when ethics become blurred by evolution. “West” is the tale of how a chance encounter with a fox sets a boy and girl free. “The Ocean Won’t Burn” takes us below the surface, as sometimes it is much safer below than above.
